On the 30th -31st of August 2019 , SWRGN had a two day strategic plan review meeting that was attended by the board of directors, key stakeholders ,member organisation programmes officers as well SWRGN staff. The review meeting was facilitated by an external consultant Mr Z .Masiye. The strategic plan review workshop was a follow up to the organisational capacity assessment exercise that was conducted in September 2017 funded by Zimbabwe Institute with the aim of strengthening the capacity of civil society organisations.
The objective of the meeting was to
- Create a shared understanding of strategy in the context of gender networks;
- Review the strategy of SWRGN and align it with current developments;
- Review the performance of the network in relation to its set outcomes;
- Review and enhance the governance structure of SWRGN in line with its Capacity Improvement Plan.
